Celebrate Independence Day at the
At The Northernmost Point of Lake Michigan

There’s something for the entire family at this annual celebration of freedom in neighboring Engadine and Naubinway!
The fun begins on Monday, July 3 with the Kiddie Parade and games. Arrive at the Naubinway Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. to register—the parade rolls at 7 and is followed by games and snacks hosted by the Engadine High School Key Club.

A full day of events on Tuesday, July 4, starts with the Black Bear Run in Engadine, followed by the Carnival, Independence Day Parade and Thunder Over the Bay Fireworks Show in Naubinway.

Everyone is welcome to join the parade on Independence Day. We are happy to recognize the 2023 Grand Marshalls, the tireless Charlie and Marilyn Vallier, for their work in building the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum and the many other ways that they contribute to the Top of the Lake Communities.

The parade steps off at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, and you’re invited to salute the Red, White & Blue with your personal, business, church or other group’s float, vehicle, marching unit, band, animal or other entry decorated to depict this year’s theme: “TOP OF THE LAKE!”

Thank you to our sponsors, First National Bank of St. Ignace and the Graymont Rexton Project.
